We have been going to Vistana Cascades for years starting when the DW and I were just dating. Fast forward to today and we have several trips under our belt, and now DDs 9 and 10. This time I am using RCI weeks from when my DW couldn't take time off and am wondering where we will be placed this March? Here's the info from RCI:
Resort ID: 0450
Resort Name: Sheraton Vistana Resort
Check-in: Friday
Check-out: Friday
Unit Type: 2 BR
Max Occ/Privacy: 8/6
Kitchen: Full

My usual using RCI is to request Cascades high floor away from pool and it has always been granted. From other threads it looks like I might be able to request other sections? What would you all recommend for just the DDs and I? The DW still can't take time off so being close to the pool now would be great. In all the years visiting there we have never pool hopped, the DDs have liked the zero entry Cascades pool. It's been a few years now and the DDs are older, any recommendations for a better pool? Should I try for a section with less congested parking and a later refurb date?

The Spas section might be worth considering (and requesting). Our 17 year old DS loved the Super Pool (located beside Spas).....in fact, we all preferred it to the Cascades pool. Its consistently deep (or deep-ish), its big (and never seemed "full", even when its busy), there's a in-water volleyball net, its adjacent to the mini golf, there are several special events (like karaoke) which are held poolside throughout the week, and it has the same extended hours as the Cascades pool. We also loved the raised hot tub and the fact that Zimmies outdoor seating was right there, if we wanted to enjoy a beverage :thumbsup2 .

The Spas area is close to the Marketplace, close to Zimmies, close to the main recreation center, close to the mini golf and Fish Pipe, and an easy walk to not only the Super Pool, but also the Cascades pool (so you could easily frequent both, depending on what your DD's enjoy most), the Courts pool, and the Falls pool. Its also close to the basketball area and there's a sand volleyball court right at the end of the Super Pool too.

Another consideration, if you don't mind being on the other side of the resort, might be the Fountains area. Then your girls would be close to the pool where they feature the poolside movies, and you also would also be close to the fast-food restaurants.

That sounds pretty good, thanks for the help. I just started reading your TR last night! Seems the parking there is way better than in the Cascades area.

We had no problems with parking in Spas....basically right in front of the building. Never had an issue getting a space....though some pesky fellow liked our favourite end spot as much as we did :rotfl: . We think it may have been a couple on their honeymoon, 'cause that black sedan often went long periods between being moved :lmao: .
