Vista or Cabanna Massage??

I've been saving my pennies to get my first ever massage! Should I partake at Vista or at Castaway Cay? I am traveling with my DH & DS' ages 5 yrs and 18 mos. This will be the only private time I will probably get!

My preference is the Vista massage. I like a nice deep massage and she just couldn't seem to get to the places that needed it with the bathing suit in the way. I guess if you have a suit that is nothing more than a couple of strings then that wouldn't be a problem but on me that would be obscene and gross and people would talk about that fat lady in a bikini with four spare tires. EWWW! I also didn't like having to walk back to the ship when I was nice and relaxed and just wanted to sleep but not in the sun. That being said, I loved the view of the Cabana massage and how the breezes just seemed to brush past my skin. In my opinion the best of both worlds would be someplace on ship that gave open air massages. I know, keep dreaming.

I can truly say that the open air cabana massage was something I will remember forever. You can get a spa massage anywhere. There are probably 20 places in my town that give them. But where else can I get an open air message on a tropical island, with the warm breeze, the sound of the ocean and birds.

Man, I'm getting relaxed just thinking about it!

My boyfriend and I chose to do the Cabana massages and enjoyed them while they were being done, however! There is no place near them to wash off the oils used.... that being said, i ruined my tan that i worked hard on all week and paid $110 for it! We were so burnt we looked like a pair of Maine Lobsters ready for supper! We were burnt in the time it took to walk in the Carribean sun from the Cabana locations to the ship to wash off! I personally would save the extra money for the outdoor massage and get the on board massage! I think it is like $20 less and you don't run the risk of getting burnt!

Next time I'm getting an on ship massage!
