Random question. We planned a trip to Orlando that happens to coincide with the Superbowl. We will only be in town for a couple of days with (likely) one day to visit the parks. My initial thought was to pick a weekday in hopes the crowds may be smaller. I've started wondering if perhaps people may stay away from the park, at least in the later part of the day, to watch the Superbowl? If I were going to be home, that would be my time to hit the grocery store!

I've not noticed any signifcantly lower crowds on superbowl sunday. It is technically a slow period but those who care about the gsme don't usually schedule vacation during it unless it is to go to the game.

I kind of figured, but the thought popped in my head. I didn't realize it was that weekend until the Patriots made it in because now that is all I hear about! Stupid sportsball ;)

The one time we were at WDW on Super Bowl Sunday, we were at Epcot. The morning was not crowded at all, but not overly light either. By noon, the place was noticeably more empty. By 2pm, it was a ghost town. Stayed that way till closing.
