Visiting Vancouver/Victoria

I know they have a couple of bears on Grouse Mountain but is there anywhere else (not too far from Victoria) where we could go bear watching?

Trust me on this one, bears are not something you want to see unless there is a thick glass wall (or steel bars) between you and the bear.

I now realize that people from the UK are no longer allowed to have carry-ons...so forgive me momentary ignorance!

I don't know if we can bring caryy-ons back - does anyone? (Of course it might change by the time we come back)

On the news this morning they said that Transportation Canada will have the new stricter guidelines in place for the next 72 hours (4 hours ago). I'm sure this too will blow over. But for now, better to be safe than sorry right?
