Visiting Relatives?

Any ideas where I can have FLA relatives meet us if they are not allowed at the pool and they are not going to the parks do to disability? Can they meet us at the Boardwalk??

You can meet them right in the hotel. The BW is fine, where are you staying?

I think the BW would be a great place to meet. Good place to get bite to eat or just sit outside and enjoy the view & entertainment..

Or plan a nice dinner together; you don't have to be doing the parks to enjoy the resort restaurants... how about 'Ohana?

Or plan a day at DDT.

Thanks! I guess I was hoping the kids could play. We'll be at the Dolphin and the relatives are coing in from West Coast of FLA. We're not renting a car so they'll come over a few hrs. Cousin can't walk to to some arterial problems. Maybe they can meet us at the Boardwalk area for a drink and the kids can play the arcade games??

Anyone can go to the Boardwalk or any hotel, for that matter. They may limit parking time, but they have no problem with anyone visiting.

Downtown Disney is a good place to eat and shop as well but since you are at S/D the boardwalk sounds perfect for you.

They can meet you right at your hotel. We stayed at ASMO last week, my parents drove up. At the guard house they just asked for a picture Id, and let them in. They parked thier car in the check in parking lot and just met us at the pool. They could not find a room on property so they stayed a mile away at a hotel and met us at ASMO every AM. they even ate with us.

If you do meet at the Boardwalk,even though your at Dolphin have them park at BW. They won't have to pay. Dolphin would be 9.00 + tax to park.
