We are staying at ASMu next month, but I would like to drive over and check out some of the other resorts, do they allow this??? Our first night there we have a carriage ride reserved at POR, my plan was to drive over to POR and park, take the boat to DD for dinner and then take the boat back to POR to get our carriage ride, and then back to the hotel. Would something like this be allowed? What about if we want to go to AKL to shop and whatnot? Or any of the other resorts?? Would it be easier to take the bus to one of the parks and then take the bus to that particular hotel from there and then back again the same way?? Since the buses don't go between hotels? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.. just want to make sure all my plans are good to go!!!

That is definetly all allowed and lots of fun. If you have a car, I would recommend driving. Generally with an on-site parking pass in the window they just wave you through anyhow. Other wise, you can tell them you just came to shop, they have no problem with that. The only major no-no is to use some else's pool

Enjoy

You can drive to and visit other resorts. However, if you are not a guest at the resort, you may be given a 3-hour parking permit. At resorts that offer valet parking, you can do that and pay $6. With valet parking there is no 3-hour limitation. Otherwise, a 3-hour limit usually applies. There are signs at some resorts (GF, Poly, etc.) that warn drivers their car is subject to being towed if they exceed the time limit.

Another alternative is drive to the TTC and hop a bus there.
