Due to circumstances beyond my control (and knowing full well this is probably the worst time to visit) my boyfriend and I will be in Orlando over the July 4th weekend. I am working him slowly into Disney so we will be visiting MGM one of the days during our trip. Would someone be able to suggest the best way to make this as painless as possible? :flower:

FASTPASS, see the last F! showing of the day (should be the third of the night), during the hottest part of the day (noon-2pm), go do the "air conditioning tour" which is GMR, Sounds Dangerous, Star Tours, Muppets, WWTBAM & One Man's Dream.

That is very good advice.

Also, maybe you can plan a nice meal for the hottest time of the day. If he likes old campy b&w movies, maybe you could try Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater for lunch. It is dark and cool in there! Or, if he is in to more of a fine dining experience, how about the Brown Derby?

I think the best things to remember are to take it slow, prepare him for the heat and crowds and get plenty of rest the night before!

And, like QuickGold said....use the FASTPASS!!! :cool1:

PS....also...remember the afternoon rains that hit Orlando at that time of year, so be prepared!! :umbrella:
