Has anyone any experience booking DL Paris using DVC points through the Disney Collection? We're contemplating a visit in the fall of 2009 and thought we'd better start planning. :yay:

I understand that booking Hong Kong Disney with points includes park admissions, but it seems that daily park admission is required when using points at DLP, but is not included.

Not that we wouldn't want to have daily access to the parks, but I'm not sure why it's required if not included.

If anyone can advise, it would be appreciated.

I'm sure DVC owners will check in later but AFAIK members have said that you also have to purchase length of stay passses :)

I haven't booked DLP with DVC points recently, but I remember it being fairly easy. The only problem seems to be that they can take ages to release the point charts, which can be a bit nerve wracking if you're keen to get it booked! Hopefully the fact that your trip is toward the end of a year will work in your favour. :)

Don't understand the reasoning on this one either - though it's good that the point requirement is slightly less horrific!! I quite like this "points for rooms/cash for tickets" option - but it would make more sense if the ticket options were a bit more flexible, or you didn't have to buy any if you could prove you had an annual pass. But then booking room only at DLP is quite a tricky thing to do anyway!
