Visiting Celebration - websites?

We'd like to spend an afternoon/evening at Celebration, FL next month. We'd like to rent segways, eat at Market St. Cafe, and maybe see a movie in their movie theater.

I can't seem to find any information online with info on where to go and prices for the segway rentals, a menu and hours for Market St. Cafe, parking information for downtown Celbration, the name of their movie theater, etc.

I think I'm not just looking in the right places? Does anyone have some links or info?

I see what you mean - there doesn't seem to be much out there Try www.celebrationhotel.com for info as it is the hotel by the lake.

Maybe someone will know where to look for info

Sorry, there are no Segway rentals anymore.

Bummer! What's the word on why? Too many accidents? Not profitable?

The place that rented them (NEVr Land) closed and reopened as Wheelz under totally new ownership. Their primary business was Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs), and the Segways were just a tiny part of the business. I think Wheelz might rent out the electric cars, tho', and I know for sure that they rent bikes.

People tend to think of Celebration as having lots of Segways, but I only personally know of three people who have one. Uncovered vehicle + afternoon thunderstorms = expensive, impractical toy. The NEVs are a lot more popular.

I saw bikes in the window of Wheelz so maybe you can rent them from there.

Wheelz' website (see above) did say they rented bikes but to call for prices and information.
