Or maybe it was dumped?
What would you do?

Or maybe it was dumped?
Not every neighbor would know who has an indoor cat and who doesn't.
Thank you for the kind words, my sister is joking with me telling me I'm turning into the crazy cat lady and asked me when my glasses come in lolIt's entirely possible that her "owners" moved and didn't want to take her along so just left her there, leaving the poor thing to wander around helpless and looking for a new home. It happens all the time and it's sad. In fact, I have a Siamese cat whom I suspect had that very thing happen to him. Why people think cats are disposable I have no idea. There could be a better explanation but that's just the cynic in me, I guess. Maybe she never did have an owner in the first place...Siamese cats are naturally friendly and love being around people.
Anyway, thank you for taking the time and effort into helping her out. Hoping for a positive outcome for this sweet kitty.
I take it every night lol, it works wonders.I think she's an indoor cat. She probably got out last fall and found her way to you. It happened again this week and she had enough of her bearings to make her way to you, but not back home. Not every neighbor would know who has an indoor cat and who doesn't.
I hope you find a solution soon. If not, Zyrtec works great for allergies.![]()
That's a great question, I did call the non-emergency number for our shelter and left a message. A lot of places were closed for Election day. We will see what today bringsI am really curious - why would u not call your local shelter to see if anyone has reported a missing Siamese cat? Pets do get lost and wander and Facebook/asking neighbors don't always cover a wide enough radius.
When we lost our dog, I pinned my hopes on our local shelter (we reported him within an hour or so). I figured if someone found him, surely the easiest thing to do would be to call the shelter. And honestly, that would be the FIRST place I would think of.
Unfortunately for me, the people who found him didn't call the shelter. I ended up plastering the surrounding area with posters and after SIX DAYS, they came across a poster and decided to call. Still blows my mind - especially since they were further than I expected and while I plastered the area pretty well, they could still have easily missed the poster (especially if they weren't walking).
I've heard people say they worry about kill shelters. But calling to ask if anyone reported a missing pet does not mean you will be forced to surrender the pet if the owner cannot be found.
Anyway, back to topic. Very kind of u to care for that very sweet kitty and I hope u find her owners. if u never find the owners, it sounds like u may become a cat lady yet!
