Visiting Bognor Regis(sp?)

Hi
We will be visitng Bognor Regis in October can anyone give me info?
Need a reasonable hotel(clean,and nice- butlins seems to get bad reviews).
What is the weather that time of year?
What should we pack?

Butlins is good if you have kids, as there really isnt much else to do in Bognor for them (I grew up there and only moved away last year). There is a nice hotel on the seafront called The Royal Norfolk. The beach is mainly pebbles until the tide is out. There is a small crazy golf area opposite the pier (the pier just has an amusement arcade on it). The weather is typical of the UK weather, although it does seem to miss most of the rain! If you want any more in depth info on anything specific let me know and I will do some digging around and find out for you! One of my friends who lives there is actually coming to visit me tomorrow for a few days so I can pick her brains too!
