Visited the GC DVC

Hello all,

Just got back from DL/DCA and visited the new model for the DVC at the Grand California!

Very nice - very similar to the Wilderness set up.

They said we should all be receiving something in the mail when they are ready to book.

I asked last week when we were down there and the person from DVC who gave us the tour said they do not have a date yet.

Wow, this is good to know. We are thinking of going back to california next year and to be honest we were so disapointed the last time we were there mostly because we missed out DVC home so much. We've become hotel snobs :lol Is there any ETA on when they expect to be open at all?

I was there two weeks ago and they said 2010, but you never know. They actually said the end of 10....

They have two floors structurally up, and it looks like they are working on the 3rd floor now. I didn't ask how many floors it would be.

So they have a ways to go.

That is where I want to buy...
