Visit water park & theme park same day, no park hopper?

Please confirm that I will be able to do this... I was assuming so, but read something on TGM this morning that made me unsure. We have 10-day MYW tickets with the Water Parks & More option. We have not purchased the park hopper option as I don't think we'll need to use it.

So here's my understanding... we can go to one theme park (AK, MK, MGM, or Epcot) per day for the 10 days. We also have 6 admissions each to Disney Quest, BB, or TL. My point of concern is that we are able to visit one of the water parks or Disney Quest and go to one theme park on the same day, which I have planned right now. We would only need the park hopper if we need to hop between theme parks, correct?

Correct. We had the same passes as you last year and went to a water park one day, then MK that night.

You are correct. The water parks and more option are separate from your park ticket and you can use them the same day as a park visit.
