I am probably overthinking it but the question is "Declaration of Accompanied Articles and Unaccompanied Articles. Will you declare accompanied personal effects and unaccompanied articles for accompanying family members at the same time?" I am only bringing my own personal items and my daughter is only going to bring her own stuff. So shouldn't the answer be yes?

Are you wondering if you should select the option "yes" you are traveling with family members to declare together vs. "no" and each fill out a custom declarations separately?

If you are traveling together (arriving on the same flight and taking the same transportation to the same accommodation), then it's simpler to just do it together rather than each fill out a customs declaration. But if one person plans to carry items that need declaration such as excessive amounts of cash, then you may wan to do it separately so you don't both have to go through extra screening.
