Visit from the tooth fairy?

We're heading to the BWV in a few days. My son's front tooth is about to fall out and we thought, how cool if he loses his first tooth at Disney! Does anybody know if they will do anyhting special or have a little gift from the "tooth fairy" if this happens while we are there? Any experiences with this?

They probably don't have anything institutionalized for a lost tooth. However, if you drop by the front desk at a time when they're not busy, you can chat up a CM and see whether there's a generic "congratulations" character call that they might set up for you.

I don't think Disney does anything special, but the Tooth Fairy still seems to do a little something extra at Disney World if you know what I mean. My son has had the extreme luck of having 2 out of the 6 he has lost fall out at Disney World. Each time he has received some money and an extra special Disney pin under his pillow. He will probably try to pull out a tooth that is not even lose when we go in May in the hopes of getting something extra.

On our Dec trip at the BWV, The tooth fairy found an inexpensive (under $5) mini stuffed magnet stitch character at the BWV screen door general store and rolled a dollar into it. My 6 y/o loved it and my 8 y/o noticed that the Disney fairy is more generous than the one at home....

I don't recommend hoping on Disney to do the tooth fairy's duties.

When my kids were little they always seemed to lose at least one tooth a year at Disney. Well, Tinkerbelle was the tooth fairy. She always left Disney Dollars and pixie dust. I would buy some glittery stuff at home and bring it with me. They loved it!!

Though it wasn't her first, last month DD7 lost a tooth while waiting for the bus to Animal Kingdom out in front of Pop Century. The tooth fairy happened to be in a good mood that night so not only left a dollar and a Disney Princess pen for her - she also left AK keychains for both her and her twin brother!

P.S. Thanks for reminding me, the tooth fairy is again needed at our house tonight: it's like jack-o-lantern city around here...

When DD lost her first tooth. The tooth fairy had left a congratulations card and a pillow to put her next tooth in. Then she always leaves Disney Dollars and sprays the Disney Dollars, pillow and room with a glitter spray (the kind they sell for hair that is sold in beauty supply stores). We only have 8 more teeth to loose. My DD always writes a note to the tooth fairy and leaves a little gift of her own (shrinky dink, bead necklace, etc.)

We just got back from BCV. My son's tooth was hanging on by a thread so I inquired at the front desk. For $19.99 you get a disney tooth fairy pillow and I think some snacks and pixie dust. His tooth never fell out so we didn't order it but it sounded cute. She said to order it through room service, but since you're staying at BWV maybe you could get it through the concierge desk at BC (or maybe through BWI room service?).

I remember seeing the tooth fairy kit in the room service menu in BCV in December. My mom and I wanted to order it just so we could get the pillow for when my kids do loose their teeth! They didn't have a picture of it but it sounded great.
