You get the message.

So I am in full swing planning for December 2008. I feel like a woman posessed! I have only been home a week from our last (first ever) trip.

I used a TA last trip, but since she pretty much only booked the reservation through Disney (which is already done) and booked my ADR's. I decided to go this one alone. Last trip we did a bunch of Character meals which were great being the first time and all, but we are letting DD pick 2, one breakfast one dinner and DH and I will decide on the rest.

The CM I booked with was trying to get us to try a new resort but I know once I start that business I won't be able to stop until I stay at them all! I LOVED the Poly and had an incredible time so I don't want to mess with that. I know the decorations are not as fab at the Poly but we will be wandering all around the world so we will get our fill!

I can't believe I am into this full swing again! I used to think the repeat Disney goers were NUTS! I apoligize for ever thinking that. I told DH today it's nothing but the Disney Visa for every expense! Happy planning to everyone! It sure helps to have something so wonderful to look forward too!

Congrats on your next trip. I have been trying to talk my DH into going during the Holidays, but he will have nothing of it....he is too stuborn. I get so jealous of all those who come back and then immediately plan for another trip the following year. We just went in June and will not be returning until Sept. of 2010....:sad1: Oh well, I just can't wait until it is time for me to start my planning for that trip because that will be our BIG one...our "magical vacation". Anyway, like you said....Happy Planning :goodvibes

Congrats on booking for Christmas 2008!
:thumbsup2

I *just* booked for Christmas '08 at the Poly last night! Some folks may think I'm crazy but I just think it gives me more time to save.

I don't think you are crazy. We took our daughter for the first time in March '06 and within 2 months had booked again for March '07. Then after that trip i think we booked within 1 week of return for March '08. I like it because it gives you the full year to pay on it!
Now crazy is the 200 day countdown chain we have going in the kitchen (down to 150 days as of today!).

That is exactly why we are doing it this way. We pay a little each month. Last trip we had paid in full three months before it was even due! When we finally did go, the financial part of it was less stressfull. Everything, including are meals were paid! We did go a little nuts on souvineers, but it was our first time to Disney ever!

Next time we don't need to buy Mouse ears hats with our names and so forth! But I know there will be all that holiday stuff to buy!!!
We will see;)

Another advantage for us is we have the Disney Visa, so everything goes on it from now until then, even our trip payments. We just subtract from our checking account, put a DV by the entry in the check book, and at the end of the month, pay the card off! The Visa rewards come in handy! :thumbsup2
