Visa Rewards discount plus dxddp?

Wondering if I can add deluxe dinning to my reservation I made using the Visa Rewards discount OIZ? Also, I'm an AP holder...think its possible to get dinning without buying tickets? Or will I have to wait and hope an AP discount comes out that I can add dinning?

The CM told me last night the only way to add any dining was to have a package and I'd have to buy at least one day's ticket to then be able to add dining. I bought the whole trips worth anyway, but I'd asked her because I thought the DV code was only for room only, and I could maybe save a few dollars using Undercover tourist for tickets and then I could add dining. But, she had a code for room ticket package, so I will add dining later.

To get DDP without buying a ticket you have to book an "AP" package. You can book it at full price before discounts come out.

Have you tried calling? When I called to ask about DV deal (I didn't want DDP) I was told I had the AP Pin even though I had not recieved an email on it. I not only changed my Jan 4/3 deal to room only AP but I also booked a May trip with DxDDP.
