ok so I know about the Meet & Greet in DCA, Free Strollers, % off discounts on food merchandise and tours, and the free backpack. I was wondering if there are any unwritten preks that are not specified. Also does anyone know what the backpack looks like? Thanks!

You also get VIP seating for a show and a parade. I love the back pack! It is black and a bright blue. It is the kind that hangs over your shoulder. It has a small pouch on the front part of the strap where you can put your phone. inside the bag there is another little pocket where you can put a pen and other small stuff. Hope that helps.

With the stroller...you can actually get two free. We only needed one, but we got two each day and 'wished' another family by giving them a free stroller. It was fun for us to pick a family that we thought we really appreciate it.

I have a Disney VISA. How do you get the backpack and the VIP seating? Thanks.

I just applied and they said they'd get back to me in 30 days. Does it really take that long?

I think it took about a 2 weeks for me to get my card. I was expecting an email saying that I was approved and the card was on it's way, but that didn't happen. The card just showed up in the mail last week.

You also get referral points if you refer someone and they use you referral ID#. I just called the other day to inquire about my points balance, and they sent me a letter yesterday also explaing another reward program for your top 3 categories each month. I need to call to get more info. You can also purchase Disney Visa cardholder exclusive pins. Advance purchase of Mickeys Trick or Treat event tickets. Coupons in the mail to use online, and at the Disney Stores, usually 15%, but sometimes 20%.

If anyone is considering getting a Disney Visa, I would love to refer you!!

So you have to book a package with them to get the backpack? I've been a Visa cardholder for over 2 years now. I got my MTOT tickets and know about the stroller, dining and shopping discounts but I want a backpack haha.

I applied online (link off the Disney site) and it told me I was approved in less than a minute. I was able to use the card to buy our Disneyland tickets and save $40 off of them! :cool1:

so can someone explain to me the Meet n Greet part? :confused3 We just signed up for a Disney Rewards VISA and are just waiting for it to show up in the mail~and since we will not be needing a stroller, I think "dreaming" a family each day is an AWESOME idea, so we will definetely be doing that!:cool1:

Back behind the Monsters, Inc. attraction in DCA is a private meet and greet for Disney Visa cardmembers. You must show your Disney Visa to get in, and then you will be able to meet the characters in this area. I've heard that it's either Chip & Dale, Goofy, or Pluto.

The CM will hand you a coupon for one free 5x7 photograph from PhotoPass during the meet and greet. In other words, if you met with Chip & Dale than your free photo is supposed to be with Chip and Dale, not Mickey at his house or a princess at the Fantasy Faire. However, many guests, myself included have been able to use the coupon for one free photopass picture, not necessarily from the Disney Visa meet and greet. You also have to get it done in the parks. Online will not work for this coupon.

Please note though that since the official policy is one photo from the Disney Visa Meet and Greet only, you may have a CM tell you that can't use it on a photo that did not come from the Visa Meet and Greet. When I did it, the CM told me that she didn't mind where the photo was from, but some people might so she wanted to give me a heads up on that.

If the CM does tell you it has be from the meet and greet, they are not giving you wrong information because the coupon says that it's only good for the Visa meet and greet. If this happens, your best option is probably to return later in the hopes of getting a different CM. Whatever happens, I advise people not to raise a fuss about it because this is a free perk that could be taken away if it becomes too much trouble. And it's not like the Visa meet and greet will feature non-popular characters.

Jenn...we have our package through CSAA..we paid for it with our Disney Visa...we have all the components of the CSAA package and the the Disney Rewards Vista Back Pack and preferred parade viewing...I'm not sure if all CSAA packages are like this but we are in the same region as you and just wanted to pass this on...

Thanks for that heads up. I went out on a limb and made my own package since I got such a great deal at the Hojo. So, I'll probably just get my park hoppers through the disney website and use the Disney Visa for that. I'm trying to use it for everything right now (gas, groceries, etc) so that i can earn points for our trip hehehe. Maybe I'll call and ask about a backpack if I book tickets through them.

I think you get the points on the disney visa no matter where you buy the tickets as long as you use the disney visa. I am pretty sure you don't get extra points for buying them through Disney.

Btw to those who were wondering how long it takes to get a card...I applied last Saturday June 7 and I got it today, June 16!

You also get referral points if you refer someone and they use you referral ID#.

If anyone is considering getting a Disney Visa, I would love to refer you!!

If you do refer someone, make sure they use the right website (disneyvisafriends.com) or you won't get the bonus rewards. You can't do the referrals through any of the other sites, because there's nowhere to enter your ID #.

That is correct, or do it over the phone, using the specific promo code, and then supplying the cardmembers ID#. Using just a name doesnt work. And FYI: If you do not have your ID# written down somewhere, or a statement with it on it, it cannot be looked up by calling or anything (I tried it.). So be sure if referring someone you have your ID# handy. I keep mine saved in my cell phone:thumbsup2

My husband's cousin just started working for Disneyland recently and he sent me some information on the Welcome to Disney tour. The wording said that it was 25 per person regular and 20 with AAA or Disney Visa.

When I called today to book the woman I spoke to had no clue what I was talking about and she put me on hold to ask her supervisor and they said they don't give discounts. :confused3
