VISA Meet and Greet

Is Disney VISA at Epcot same as "Meet Disney Pals at the Epcot Character Spot"?

No.
That is the meet and greet anyone can get in line for, no credit card needed. It is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, in classic outfits

We have gotten the free Visa pics for years and years.

But, we recently stopped getting the pic taken. To me, you really aren't getting anything "free" any longer. Yes, you can download it, send it to friends, print it yourself (or if you are like me - print it at Walgreens and have to pay for it there). But, it is not the same as getting pic, then having them do the border, print it for you, and walking out holding it in a Disney bag. Just me, but I don't think it is worth standing in line to get the pic taken any more. I know it does cut out the standing in line to have the picture printed. But to me, it is another thing they cut back on - the paper and toner to print the pic.

Yes, they do save on the cost of printing the pic (Chase saves, not WDW/Photopass) bu they made the switch at the same time they added the Star Wars M&G. So look at it like this, to pay for Star Wars, you now get download only. Chase only wanted to pay so much, and eliminating the physical prints let them do more for the same cost.

Thank you. Sorry for the confusion. I meant to ask if characters in meet and greet is the same as Disney VISA but separate lines. I had FP+ for Meet and Greet and had to cancel due to time conflict with ADR. NOw FP+ for Greet and Meet is all gone and I can't get it again so I was wondering if it's same characters, I can still meet them with my Disney VISA.

Of does Disney VISA have different characters?

To be fair - when they had the printed picture, you only got to choose a single picture. Now I get to download all the pictures they take. To me this is a huge upgrade. I hated standing in a 20 minute line at the end of the night waiting to get the printed picture.

May be same, may be different.
Disney Visa M&G is an unknown both in who and how many
Character Spot is fixed, always the same 3 characters (baring some unforeseen absence or something, rare for it to change)

Remember - you can also do the Visa meet and greet once per day so you can go back a few times and you're likely to get a couple different combinations. You will most likely get SOME but not ALL of the characters that you would have gotten at the Character Spot (barring getting extremely lucky). Biggest difference is at VISA you're meeting them all at once while at Character Spot you're meeting individually one after another. I like VISA because far fewer opportunities in Disney to get a picture with multiple of the big characters in one photo.

That and you are in there alone, no family standing off to the side making you feel like you need to rush things more than you'd like. Often times there is no one else waiting and you can take as long as you want. And it can be really fun to get the interaction between the characters that you miss out on when they are in their individual spots like in Character Spot.

And if you haven't heard, the Epcot Disney Visa Character location recently moved to the Imagination Pavilion.
I don't actually know where the old figment M&G was, so idk where this is in the Imagination Pavilion. Please give specifics.

No chance at all

Although I wonder since DV is in Rogue One is maybe they'll bring him back in :duck:wouldn't that be sweet! Darth Vader was there in January, but was switched to Kylo a short time after that. I've done both and both very intimidating lol.
