Does anyone know if the Visa gift cards - the ones that are supposed to work like debit cards, but are pre-loaded with money - are acceptable at the parks? I cannot imagine that they are not - they look to be a debit card so I would think as long as there is money left.

I am chaperoning a HS choir in a couple of weeks and one of the moms was asking if that is an acceptable method of doing business there - will they take it - I felt sure they would, others were not so sure.

She feels this would be a safe way for her child to carry her money. Let me know what everyone thinks - or if you know how I can find out?

We were able to use a Visa gift card about 2 years ago...

I think it is a great idea to use a preloaded card since almost everyplace in the World takes them. the only places that i know of that dont take them are a few snack carts, the carnival games in dinoland, and the pressed penny machines
