Virtual run Disney 2021?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has heard rumors about any virtual run Disney events in 2021? All I see are the 2 sold out marathons coming up in the next few months but nothing else. I was hoping to sign up for one as a challenge to myself .

Did you look at the runDisney web site? The virtual Star Wars is listed there and does not appear to be sold out.

In years past, runDisney has offered a virtual summer series of virtual 5K runs each month with some sort of challenge medal is you registered for the more expensive challenge series, which involved a virtual 5K each month. However, the 2020 virtual series was available to the U.S. only presumably due to the pandemic and sold out within minutes whereas normally it takes weeks or months to sell out. Since there has been no announcement yet for 2021, I'm beginning to wonder if they will actually hold the virtual summer series this year.

I’ve seen a lot of international folks mention that they use reshipper services that provide them with a US address to participate, so it seems like participation is possible.

Really??? I’ve never heard of a reshipper service! I’ll look it up now!!
