Virtual Queues - What are they for and do they change?

At DLR what attractions and shows use virtual Queues (not LL/genie+)? Does the list ever change?

I have seen WOC as having one but that it fills up very quickly. If you don't get in the queue is there no where to see the show from?

WOC is the only one right now.

Only WOC right now. It sounds like there are 2 viewing areas available if you don’t get in through the queue.

Based on WoC having the virtual queue, it is likely that Fantasmic will also have a virtual queue when it comes back at the end of the month.

As stated, only World of Color is doing it now. The VQs for the attractions could change there for a while, but I think they have settled on not needing them for the most part. They could reactivate them on holidays if they are expecting to be super-packed, but I am not sure. They did just announce that GotG at WDW will start with VQ only and no standby, however that is a brand new opening. So, it can change, but I think things are pretty stable with it right now and there would be notice I think before they implement it.
