1am!! Whew! We have a snow storm here and I just found out I am babysitting anyway. Not happy that they are driving the kids here is the snow, but happy to get them. Also happy to be able to come in chat when they are in bed. YAY! Count me in, maybe with an eggnog and kahlua

I'd love to stop by for the Virtual Party but it's WAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY past my bedtime. My DD6 asked if she can stay up until midnight... I quickly said "Yes" and then set the clock ahead three hours. We'll be celebrating New Year at 9:00 PM EST.

It starts at 9 and ends at 1am. Put DD to bed and them come to chat!

So what did everyone eat for supper?

We had a meatball sub with swiss cheese, green peppers and shallots. SO YUMMY. Oh and Savannah Cheesecake Cookies for dessert with a glass of wine.

Still working on the leftover turkey and ham. It's turkey soup tonight, accompanied by leftover cranberry bread, leftover cranberry sauce, leftover eggnog (with a fresh bottle of black rum), and a little leftover fudge. These leftovers will NOT be carried over into 2009!

Dinner was a Rachel sandwich. Its a tradition for Mom and me to get Rachel fixin's and whatever else strikes our fancies since this is the last weekend before we start point counting. I am only missing the Entemann's deluxe chocolate donut variety pack for the weekend. The weather is rotten so I won't be seeing them tonight. I did get my favorite ice cream on the way home. Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Turtle ice cream.

I think I need to get some dessert now.
