Thanks for the warm wishes and good thoughts.

We are thrilled with our new home.

Since our closing on Friday, we have purchased a new washer / dryer, a new fridge, a new stove, a new kitchen faucet and picked out entry tile and hardwood floors.

We now have to find a painter, an electrician, a plumber, someone to install a fence, add a porch.

Then we can move in.

We signed mortgage papers the other day and everything was fine until I saw that our final payment will be due in February 2041.

Once I caught my breath.....we finished signing.

In 2041, I will be 82.

I'm freaking myself out all over again.

Breath....breath....breath

Thank you all again.

Just remember that the mortgage interest is tax deductible so you are really saving tax dollars!

Congrats on your new home. Hope you have many happy years there together!
