Virgin's new 3 tier economy..

I booked with Virgin on boxing day (not advisable I had a few drinks as I was on a cruise so managed to spell my own surname wrong) the upgrade to the premium economy was only 200 more so that is what I did. I was looking at prices for this Christmas and the difference between the better economy and premium was 70 pounds. I am really surprised that virgin has decided that economy passengers need this sort of rip off.

Also be aware when booking a package through ebookers/Expedia. They don’t currently make you aware of what category of economy that they are putting you in. I would always assume the lowest.We found out the hard way but after many complaints they comped the baggage and seat allowance charges!

Virgin got my date of birth wrong on the booking confirmation - thankfully we noticed it early on!
