I am a student that currently attends Virginia Tech, and I am not sure if you all heard of the horrific tragedy that occurred today:
Two shooting incidents on campus today have left 33 dead. Thirty-one, including the gunman, died at Norris Hall; two died at West Ambler Johnston Hall. Fifteen other victims from Norris are being treated at area hospitals.

I am just asking you you all can keep the families and the Virginia Tech Community in your prayers.

Our thoughts are with all those involved and close to the situation. I am a Health teacher and we will be discussing this tomorrow with my high schoolers.

Ironically, we had a faculty meeting this afternoon based on crisis and trauma with students.

I was horrified when I heard the news at work today and have been on the phone all day as I know many people that go to VT. God bless all of the victims and families/friends. I can't even imagine and everyone will be in my prayers.

Oh Sweetie - this was such a terrible tragedy!!!! I am so sorry and you and all the students and families are in my thoughts and prayers. This made me sick at my stomach when I heard of this. I went to school in Washington DC so not so far away.... so sorryfor what you are going through - hang in there

It's such a terrible tragedy. The world is a crazy place. We all have to be thankful for what we have and know that we are truly blessed,so count all your blessings girls and don't take anything for granted.

I will keep all the families who lost loved ones in my prayers and to everybody who has been affected by all of this.

I went to high school and college in Virginia and had one friend there. My sister still has several friends there and she has not heard from some yet. This is such a terrible situation and I will continue to pray for the students, family and friends of Virginia Tech. This is such a terrible tragedy.

Thank you all so much, it means so much to have everyone's support. I can't even explain what it is like to be here right now. It feels like after you watch a really scary movie and you don't want she shut the lights out and you are checking under the bed to make sure you are alone, but it's not a movie its real. We went from living in this safe community where me and my roommates never ever locked our doors, even at night, to being scared to death to leave it unlocked. My cousin lives in the door the first shooting happened in, and since they have campus closed, I was not able to pick him up last night so that he could come and stay with me, he said campus is very very quiet and scary. I think that I was in shock yesterday when this all happened, I was waiting for all the reports to be wrong, but each minute it becomes more of a reality. We have all heard so many conflicting news stories and just want answers, the right one's, but that will take time. For right now all we can do is pray and hope that the people we haven't heard from are safe. Your thoughts and prayers mean the world, thank you so much.

I am watching GMA right now and there is a special report on right now and just thought about you - I am glad that you are ok. Just lock your doors and stay close to your friends and family- Take care of yourself and take everyday one at a time. Hang in there
