Booked our flights home for our trip next year (we'll be taking a transatlantic cruise coming over so only needed one way flights) and paid a grand total of £164 for the both of us!
:woohoo:
OK, add to that 100000 Virgin miles, but still

I know, but booking the same flights would cost us a whopping £6,189!!!:eek::eek: Not that we would have gone for UC at that price ;)
So even if we had bought all the miles over the past few years, we'd still be better off

One way flights with Virgin are crazy, can usually be found cheaper thru a reseller. I looked for a 1 way economy a few week back about £700 with Virgin, £396 with a US site I found. It was same when we booked one way August 08, got a free flight outbound, return flight was too much so looked on BMI site for indirect, £450. Same flight on Orbitz.com $450 which worked out at £230.

That's fab! :thumbsup2

I know when we used our points for 2 UC returns to LAX in August 2008, they would've cost £6k plus.. We get a lot of good use out of our points - I've had 2 return UC flights to Dubai and our son is flying UC return to Barbados at Easter. Really can't complain... :goodvibes
