OK, being very selfish, now I have moved my friends,so now I will let you into a little tip for those who want to try to get the small economy cabin.

Whilst you cannot check in before the scheduled flight departure time, the new seat map is loaded in the morning of the flight, so you CAN go on line and move your seats before the start of the online checkin time.

Rows 21 to 28 which are only available for passengers at time of checkin, after the allocation of some of these seats for diabled passengers. It is curtained off from the main economy cabin by the galley and stairs leading to the upper deck and also has the two rows of PE for disabled in front of them, before the curtains into UC.
It feels like a seperate cabin.

Oh, I know - thought I was missing something. Great seats for getting off the plane first, too - I've sometimes seen people getting a jump on those in UC and PE, especially those right by the door.

We "discovered" that by accident. Our flights on 19th Oct were scheduled for 10:45am. I did a standard check at 8:30 am and lo! and behold! there were the "small" cabin seats - quickly snaffled by me!

Don't tell too many people though.

Oh, I know - thought I was missing something. Great seats for getting off the plane first, too - I've sometimes seen people getting a jump on those in UC and PE, especially those right by the door.

yes, every flight I have been on, they move these people first to give UC the way out.

Also get the cabin lights dimmed quicker on the way back in that area. (Oh, and of course, they can snaffle the UC toilets

HI IF YOU MOVE SEATS ON MORNING OF FLIGHT WOULD YOUR MEALS THAT HAVE BEEN REQUESTED BE CHANGED, AS WE HAVE ORDERED KIDS AND VEGAN MEALS , OR WOULD WE HAVE TO TELL THEM ON BOARD.
