Hi there,
Can anyone remember what time the pickup is from Pop for the return journey for the 18:30 flight to Manchester?
Or if you ring up for the later pickup from DTD after doing DTD check-in, what time is that pickup?
Thanks in advance! :thumbsup2

i think they only pick up once from the hotel but not sure what time as we have always hired a car and gone about 2 hours before we fly but normally pick ups are ealry to allow you to check in

Not used the ME from Pop but have used it several times from the All Star's coming back on the same flight. They normally pick us up between 2:15 & 2:45pm.

Personally I'd rather not be picked up that late it can take a while to get everyone on the bus and at least an hour to the airport then upwards of another hour to clear security etc so it will be pushing it to get to the gate on time:rolleyes1

I know ME picks you up 4 hours before your flight (always the same for international departures)

Are you talking about Magical Express transfer or the Virgin Holidays transfer that's operated by Mears?

We get the VH Mears pick-ups, and we get them from DTD - you just have to call Mears a few days in advance to arrange, although have a feeling I was able to sort that out at the VH desk when the flight arrived in Orlando, last year.

Since we've already checked in and done bag drop in the morning at DTD, they usually pick us up about two hours before the flight is due to leave. I think if you want a hotel pick-up, it's about an hour before that again, hence why we use DTD because we get an extra hour or so to absorb Disney! I've no idea what time the Manchester flights are, but I would assume it would be similar times for Manchester.

Yes the Virgin transfers, this is what we've done previously, just trying to remember what the time differences were between the hotel pickup and DTD :thumbsup2

Like I said in the previous post, I think it's an hour, but I could be wrong. Do you need to know before you travel? When we arrived in Orlando and went to the VH desk, I was able to rearrange our DTD pick-up there and then, and even made them make a note on the pick-up details that we had a wheelchair. I did confirm with the VH reps twice after that, just to make sure the changes had been made, and then double checked the note about the wheelchair when we did DTD check-in! I like to make sure it's all correct. But anyway, they'll tell you on the desk what time pick-up is.

Thanks for the advice, it's really to figure out when the best time is to make an ADR. Some of our group will be leaving that day, and we might want to see them off before they go, so we were trying to figure out what time to have lunch should they want to join us or just to allow us to meet them briefly afterwards before they leave...

Aw, I get you. If we do lunch on the last day, we normally have a 2pm ADR time, if that's any help. This year, we are going for breakfast instead, after we've finished DTD check-in. Got one for 9:45am, so should there be a delay at check-in we'll still be on time! We also have the luxury of not having to rely on the transfers since we are hiring a car - it makes having to do the park to resort to DTD trip obsolete! Yay

Good luck with planning your meal!
