Virgin reps @ the airport & hotels

If it is your first time I dont see why you shouldnt actually go to the welcome meeting. They show a film as mentioned above which if you dont have all the research done, is actually a good introduction. Its only about 30mins.

Yes they are there to sell tours but it is not exactly hard sell timeshare style !"!" and as first timers you may actually like the sound of some of them.

They do also sometimes sell stuff you may find hard to find on your own i.e launch day trips to Kennedy, air boat/manatee tours or a trip to the coast.

:smooth:

To be honest, I think I've probably learnt more from reading / posting here than I would at the meeting :teeth: .

I'm sure the people on this board know more about Orlando than the reps!

We've got our itinery planned out - whether we'll keep to it is a different matter, but at least we've got an idea of what we're doing each day!

I think I goofed, I have booked to go to Kennedy Space center with Virgin on 17 and I arrive on the 16th.

Don't panic, Paula, just call them and change it, even if they won't/can't change it you'll be jetlagged so will wake up early and be fit and raring to go anyway.

Its going to be worse than you think. Normally on that week I am on morning shift so am used to waking up at 4am in the morning!!!!!!!!!

Hi we stayed at the Wyndham Palace for just over 3 weeks this year and we never saw the Virgin Rep once although i think you can contact them at the Virgin megastore at downtown Disney if you need one.

Well, we got our tickets today :cheer2: :earsgirl: :cheer2: !!

And we don't have to go to the meeting to collect our orlando flextickets for Seaworld and Universal - we just take them to the ticket office at the parks when we go to collect our tickets :cool1: unless we want to, for our free meal coupons - but do we want to waste a morning when we could be in the parks :confused3

And there was a little booklet in with the tickets with contact numbers, in case we do need to find a rep!

I just thought I'd post an update, now that we're back from our trip - which was excellent by the way

We didn't have to see a rep for anything, the park passes we picked up at the ticket offices at the magic kingdom and universal, and in fact, we didn't see a rep for the whole time we were there, as we booked our own transfers to and from the airport.

I think next time we'll definately do it ourselves though!
