Virgin PE question

i have been toying with the idea of upgrading to PE on our trip out on the A330 next year, and have decided that if i can get an upgrade for about £140 each i would seriously consider it. We have always traveled economy, and had no issues, but would love the PE experience.
So in your opinion is it worth it or is it a complete waste of money.
Also if anyone has any pictures that would be great.TIA

If you can afford it, IMO then it is worth it, I have not flown premium on the A330, but have on the boeing and other airbuses.

TBH the extra food and drink is nice but for me, its all about the extra leg room, and priveledges such as having your bags off first, getting off the plane quickly and a dedicted check-in.

So difficult to say what it is worth. We flew home PE on the A330 last month but we got it as a Miles & Money fare what regular price was for economy.

Going out we were in economy, got upgraded to exit row with extra leg room, no comparison these seats give you way more leg room than PE but you get basic economy service.
Coming home in PE we had a child screaming for 7 hours out of the 8 with toothache, I wished I was in economy with no legroom
I don't use the IFE so don't know if thats different in PE, food is better but not something that bothers us as we eat before boarding if in economy. It was nice to be offered a glass of bubbly on boarding and a Baileys thru the flight, nice touches but nothing like our Buisness class experiences.
Value to me, I would probably upgrade if offered at £50, £75 absolute max.
Next summer we are flying out PE again using airmiles, returning Delta Economy Comfort, I look forward to comparing the 2 as the Delta upgrade was £38.

IMO..its well worth it. Have had nothing but excellent service and its always been quiet. Love the bigger seats and the leg room and also the better food (well it couldn't be any worse) and also like pp said the bags come off before the rest and you you exit the plane after 1st class/business class so that can only be a blessing when you are waiting in line at MCO!!!! Money well spent in my case.

Blimey!!!! No def not worth that much extra....I would put that £1000 to much better use else where
