Hi, I'm still playing with prices (very prematurely) but feel like I'm missing something. I priced up 2 weeks at OKW in a 2 bed studio with free ddp and ultimate tickets for 5 and the cost was a shade over £4,000 on the Disney.co.uk site. I priced up the same deal on Virgin (no ddp mentioned:confused3) with flights was £9,000 - and that was without tickets.:scared1: Is this usual?

Virgin prices are just crazy for us in school hols.
Priced up 21 nights(won't allow the 25 we want) at OKW free DDP, econony seats, full size car, 3x 21 day Ultimates. Total £7557.12:scared1:

Would expect to do it for about £4,500, £5,000max DIY flights & thru Disney.co.uk

Even for us during the low season, VH FlyDrive is about £1500 more than doing flights direct with VA and then getting car hire from elsewhere! :scared1:

I priced up my holiday with Disney
its a 14 night holiday with deluxe dining and 14 day park pass and an upper class flight with virgin £4600
With Virgin holidays (and I could only get premium economy on the way back)
its £5500 because the room charge with single room supplement is
Adult price 2269.00 1 2269.00
Single room supplement 1770.00 1 1770.00
£4039
Just £562 than the whole holiday cost me. Then you add on tickets meal plan and flight upgrades.

Were the flights or part of a leg of a flight in PE by any chance? I think you may find that it what has happened.

I'm not sure whether the flights were economy - I just assumed they were. I wondered whether Virgin offered the 42% discount like Disney - that might have made a difference.

When I got the quote from Virgin it was most expensive hotel listed, more than AKL so I doubt they give the 42%.

Ahhh. That explains it then. I did notice that POFQ is still listed as sleeping 4 + 1 - with 50% of rooms having a rollaway bed - I thought they had stopped this.:confused3
