I've been a Virgin Mobile user for several years now. I have a now old smartphone (which works fine) that I decided to possibly upgrade. I decided to keep it a little while longer as it does serve my needs which are basically talk and text - and strangely the battery is still pretty good.
So, I was also checking out the plans and found a new to me $35 plan: Unlimited Minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb of Data before it's slowed down. I had the $45 plan with 1200 minutes, text and data.
My data usage is minimal. But I do talk a lot and I text. Data usage is usually just getting directions every 3 or 4 months.
So, I'm now on this $35 plan for a savings of $10 plus the taxes saved. Just wanted to share in the event that there are users like me who need minutes and had to pay $45 or $55 previously.
