I have been reading this thread with interest.
We are booked to travel in November, therefore, I have at the moment only paid a deposit to the TA.
How will this work? Will the overall bill be amended or will I have to get in touch with Virgin myself?
I have emailed TA on Monday but still waiting a reply.

I booked flights direct with Virgin & had paid in full, it was they who emailed me about refund. Since you are using a TA & only paid deposit so far l think your TA will deal with it & overall bill will be reduced.
Not sure what VA have done with my e tickets, received 2 new e tickets, neither of the amounts look correct as they are nowhere near the original price I paid. No refund as yet.
