I'm still gutted that i missed the cheap upgrade offer last Friday!! Will i ever turn left or go up the stairs when i get on a plane :sad2:

Hi Netty. I'm afraid the call centre were as unhelpful as I expected. :confused3 I've decided not to stress, at least we're going to Florida. :cool1:

Tho I noticed in another post, TraceyCooper had mentioned that at Easter last year there was 15% off, so I'm holding off booking for 2007 to see if that happens again! :goodvibes

Thanks for thinking about us! :thumbsup2

Hi I got the 15% discount last easter and the £10 regional flight deal as well so it well worth waiting for :goodvibes

I think the 10% off is the Frequent Virgin club as opposed to the flying club. You can join the frequent virgin club after you have booked your third holiday with Virgin. It's not something I've used as I get a better deal through my TA.

There are often deals on the Virginholidays web-site so if you're not in the frequent virgin club you might get a deal online.

Nope 10% also applies to VA Flying Club members, just put your club membership number in on the details page when confirming the booking.

Thanks for correcting me.

I have to say with Flying Club members getting 10% discount the Frequent Virgin club seems an even bigger waste of time.

I think it comes down to getting a set of Luggage tags :woohoo:

I booked on line just before Netty's information about the 10% discount. I was very pleased today to receive 2 invoices from Virgin. The first with the 5% online discount which I knew that I had received, and a second automatically amending the amount to show the new 10% discount offer. I am delighted.

It's always nice to hear when people receive good rather than poor service. Well done Virgin :)
