Virgin Holidays Tickets

We are due to fly in less than 2 weeks now with Virgin and no tickets yet! I rang Virgin this week to be told "there is a delay on all tickets but they should be sent out at the end of the week". I asked why and was given no answer - just that there is "no problem".

Being a normal paranoid person I have begun to worry about this. Should I be? Has anyone got any inside info.? At the least if there are any mistakes it will leave almost no time to sort them out.

We are going (well we think that we are) on 12/11 to stay at Sheraton Four Points Lakeside.

We're flying out this Sunday with Virgin and our tickets arrived 15 days before this date. I would wait until Monday and if they have not arrived by then I would telephone them every day until they do arrive.

I notice you are staying at Sheraton Four Points - DO NOT eat at the nearby Magic Mining Company restaurant it is terrible.

I am not travelling until 29/11 but I was getting excited about the prospect of receiving my tickets soon!!! Oh well, I will be on Virgin's case if the don't arrive by 14/11!!!! Please let us know when yours do arrive.

We are flying with virgin on 6th november and we got our tickets on Thursday 24th October and my friend who is flying on the 5th november got hers on saturday 26th october.

We to are at the sheraton four points from 6th - 27th november.

So just whats wrong with the Magic Mining restaurant and any good eating suggestions that might have appeared since we were there 4 years ago????

We go on the 8th November and telephoned Virgin in a panic on Saturday - well they do say the tickets will be sent out 3 weeks before. They arrived on Tuesday and were opened very excitedly.

I can't wait! Keep looking at the weather forecast every day - hope it doesn't rain!!

Tickets arrived this morning all ok - panic over.

Now just the wait until we go!

I'm so excited for you all - we've still got 10/12 weeks to go, but at least we saved a further £40 by settling with Virgin early by Switch! For those of you stying at the four points, please, please, please post what it was like on your return. That's where we are staying too & I've recently got a bit worried as some of the posts haven't been all that positive, so any feedback will be more than welcome
