Virgin Holidays - confirmation email?

So I just booked our trip with Virgin Holidays online. I was expecting I'd get a confirmation email but haven't received one yet. Do they send them?
Also it says that with my booking reference number I can sort out the seats online with VA. But when I use my reference number it can't find anything. Am I being too impatient in wanting to sort things out asap? :confused3
 
I booked by phone last weekend(a complicated booking) and the guy said he would send an invoice in a week or so.

I phoned back the next day and he gave me the Virgin Ref number which is different from the Virgin Hols one. With this you can go on the VA website and book your seats, meals etc.
 
your holiday refrence should work on the second page of virgins web site ( the bit where it asked for the flight number and date as well as your name and booking ref.

If this does not work give virgin a ring and ask for the locator code this will then work.
 
They don't usually send out e-mails, but do sometimes.

The number you need for Virgin Atlantic to book the seats is different to the VH ref number. They can give you the right ref number if you call.

Don't forget to join th flying club to get your miles.
 

never mind! I just managed to "update my booking" on the VA website with my Virgin Holidays booking reference. :thumbsup2 Managed to choose our seats and added our frequent flyer numbers!
