Virgin Holidays airport transfers

Hi everyone!

We're off to Disneyworld next month and I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of information about Virgin Holidays airport transfers?

What are the coaches like? Do Virgin have their own coaches, are are they Disney coaches?

How long do the transfers to the hotels take (we're staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort).

Does the coach stop at many other hotels en route?

If you stay onsite the coaches are Disney ones and are very nice, the service is good, they wait for you as you come thru the airport and help you onto the coach. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Disney, Ive only stayed at ASMO and the coach has dropped off at one maybe two other Disney hotels on the way but thats it, dont worry it doesnt go to hundreds of hotels first.

Just be aware, we booked the transfers last November. No problem going to the hotel.
The problem arose on the return, We were not picked up despite confirming the day before.
The driver told virgin we were a No Show when the rep contacted them, This of course was rubbish we were there 30 minutes before time.
We ended up getting a taxi to the airport. Thius apparently happened to other people too.
This year I am not taking a chance, we have arranged for quickksilver to do the transfers.

Oh right - thanks - I'll bear that in mind, hopefully we'll be OK.

How do you arrange the transfer back to the airport? Do you have to contact Virgin and let them know what time to pick you up?

They usually post a letter at reception or to your room advising of pick up times, or if you haven't heard the day before you're departing phone the local rep, reception will have their number

They pick up at several different times, one year we missed the transfer back and the rep told us it wasnt a problem and that we could just get on the next one which was 30 mins later.
