Virgin Holiday Disney gift card

For those who booked the deal with VH that came with a Disney gift card can anyone tell me does the giftcard come with the documents package or do you have to go to some "boring" welcome meeting that I REALLY don't want or need.

I'm not 100% sure but I've read a few threads about this over on The Dibb. I believe if you booked through VH then you have to collect your gift card from the rep at the airport, whereas, if you booked through Disney you get it sent out to you in the post

I'm sure someone will come along and correct me if I've got it the wrong way round

You collect the gift card from a VH representative at the airport. If you are going to the hotel on board the provided transfer from VH then it will be in your pack at the desk, otherwise they give it to you before you disappear off to collect your car or go to DME. Unfortunately it couldn't be further from anywhere else you have to go if you aren't going on the Virgin bus.

Oh boo !!! as we are getting our own car it looks like we'll have a bit of messing about them As we don't get in till about 6pm I had hoped we could get out of the airport and on our way to WDW as quickly as possible

Yep, you collect from the Virgin Concierge at the airport. Irritating, but not as bad as a welcome meeting, lol.

Whereabouts do the Virgin concierges live?! I've flown twice before with Virgin but never had the need to seek one out before ~ but have gift card to collect this time around

The desk is on level 1 on the side opposite where the car rental desks & DME are located. They will give you a card when you go through customs telling you where to go. Once you picked up the card, you have to head back up & across. It was a little annoying to find on the first day, tired after a flight. But the reps were really good. Just poor location when wanting the DME.

Yes I collected mine from the airport, it's an annoying location if using ME but it was worth the 10 min detour for the $300 gift card
