Virgin from Glasgow

Flying from Glasgow to MCo with Virgin on Saturday (the excitement builds!!) and was wondering if anyone has any information on what plane will be flying the route - have tried on v-flyer but nothing is showing for the flight number

I'm pretty sure they're the 747-400s which operate on the LGW and MAN routes (i.e. to Orlando and the Caribbean). If you check V-Flyer for any of those routes, it'll give you an idea of what you're likely to get.

You will never know beforehand exactly which plane will be used for security reasons, if Glasgow has a plane spotters website, like MAN does - ringway reports, you may be able to see the selection of planes used recently.

We flew with Virgin from Glasgow last summer. The check-in staff drove up from Manchester the night before; the plane arrived from Gatwick about an hour late. We arrived in Orlando not too late if I remember correctly.

Really enjoyed the flight (2nd time with VA).

thanks John, first time with virgin - been ba nost of the time before and never had any issues so my fingers are firmly crossed (and my toes!!)
