do you still get proper knives and forks, what type of meals are they serving and most importantly what beer do they serve aboardpirate: :earsgirl: :Pinkbounc

plastic knives and folks :)

usually rubbish meals (choice of 3 including 1 vegi option) :)

don't know what beer they serve - I only drank orange juice :)

Last September it was small cans of Budweiser on a Virgin flight - one of which was out of date!

If you are driving when you land in Orlando do not drink. The authorities are a lot harder on drink drivers in the US then they are in soft old England

Alcohol also increases the risk of DVT on long haul flights.

That's a bit of a worry.

I'll have to have a couple of drinks on my next flight so I don't fret about it too much!

....but they have the tiniest cans of cola you've ever seen! Not even enough to allow a god belch.

I thought the food was great :sunny:

I had pre-ordered low fat meals (chicken) through the virgin-atlantic web-site (same place as you reserve your seats). Not only did I get a decent meal but as I had pre-ordered I also got served first.

Cutlery was plastic - cant comment on the beer but the wine was a bit dodgy, didn't encourage you to drink much of it.
