...and I suspect most people, like me, would want to keep their hard earned miles for their own trips!

VA do make it horrendously difficult, particularly on the orlando route.

Miles & Money fares are usually available on the MCO route.

We are doing a full reward fare in December by flying out to EWR and back from MCO.

You have to be a bit more flexible to use them but for our reward flights the amount saved was well worth it.

I m only mucking about! Annoying they charge to transfer. Going to try and use them soon but bu the sounds of it its quite tricky!

Despite my previous post, which was accurate when I posted it, I just managed to book August 2015 flights using miles plus money on the exact dates I wanted them. I had to spend £20 on a few extra miles but I've saved £500 + so worth it. My points were going to expire before I used them if I didn't use them this next trip so overall I'm happy. I have had a splurge and gone PE again but had I used my miles for economy seats it would have brought them in for slightly less than Thomas Cook have been quoting for several weeks in this this is useful to anyone.

It's a shame they cost money for transferring, it would be good to start a DIS UK miles lottery. Everyone signs up at the beginning of the year pledging to donate 500-1000 miles (you can earn that easily filling in surveys) with one winner each year getting all the miles.

If enough people were in, one family a year could fly upper class! (maybe economy if I'm being realistic!)

When you book flights they are available 11 months exactly from the date right? So if you are returning 10 days later does that mean you have until 11 months minus 10 days before you can book your trip for a return?

Yes. That foiled me as well I had to wait an extra 17 days!
