Does anyone know if you can earn miles with a package holiday using Virgin flights?

We've flown Virgin to US last four years - but all on package holidays with Virgin Holidays. Next year we will be visiting US independently and therefore will be booking just flights either direct with Virgin or through agent.

If you are a member of the Virgin Flying Club, can you earn points through Virgin holiday flights with Virgin?

Thanks

Yes, Annie you can. Feel as though I ought to add something else, but that's it basically!

I have just added miles to my account from a trip with Virgin Hols in March. I just filled in the form on the Flying Club Website and they sent me an email confirming that they had put the miles on. I think they will do this for a maximum of 6 months back.

If I fly with Virgin or with BA I will always present my frequent flyer membership card when I check-in, regardless of where I booked the tickets. Although I can't say for certain, I'm pretty sure that I've been given points for each flight, although sometimes this is at a lower rate if it is a discounted flight or via Virgin Holidays, etc.
