May cut upto 600 jobs.
Virgin said its daily Heathrow to Chicago service will not operate this winter and it would suspend one of two daily London to Hong Kong flights.

Total capacity would be 7% lower than in winter 2008/09, it added.

Full story here. Hopefully won't affect the Orlando routes.

I would imagine that they will cut down to 1 LGW/MAN service again in the quiet months. They have in September so can't see why they wouldn't in Jan/Feb time :rolleyes1

Even in previous years the VS015/VS027 out of LGW have been combined onto the VS015 for some winter days, so no real change there.

Virgin are beginning a service to San Juan, Puerto Rico (in November I believe). It will be a continuation of their Antigua flight so will stop there on the way down but fly directly to LGW on the way home. We will be using it in February to join a cruise.
