Thanks for the info. We're planning on going in Oct 07 and have been anxiously waiting for the brochure to come out. Was told only yesterday by TA that it will be May. Got everything ready for booking. Soooooo excited.

Eve - we are planning on going 13th Oct for 2 weeks just waiting to confirm the dates of school hols ( the week before the half term and the half term week) hopefully staying in YC.

we are thinking of doing those 2 weeks and like you are trying to work out the half term week,also we are getting married at the yc gazzebo whilst we are there and hopefully staying at the yc for 2 nights for our wedding who knows maybe we'll see you there

Our local authority does not announce school holiday dates until the end of July. I think they are sick of me as I keep e:mailing them!!

Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. It's a long while since ours as we are going to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We will have our 11 and 14 year old boys with us so we plan on having a brill family time. I have pestered our local authority for dates, I'm really worried about taking them out at the wrong time as our youngest who is special needs will have only just started at senior school and will still be in the settling in process but you can't always plan things as you want as both DH and my employers are awkward when it comes to sorting out time off. It's a headache but we are still going I'm determined on that!

hi,congrats to you on your anniversary my two boys are a similar age to yours they will be 15 and 11 and the youngest will be just starting his secondary school at that time as well but like yourselfs we are determind to go my partner can't always get the half term week so i'm keeping everything crossed that we'll get the holidays we are wanting
