Hi, has anyone travelled With virgin from Manchester to Orlando recently? Just wondered what they were like, I've never flown with them before. Also are these flights usually full in June?

Any info welcomed.:cheer2:

Flew with them two days ago. Flight was great and we landed 40 minutes ahead of schedule. Food, by aeroplane standards was fine, attendants constantly up and down serving food/drinks/ ice cream etc. If you booked through VH I would recommend the V Room, very relaxing:thumbsup2 The best thing about the flight was the in flight enretainment, if you go on VA web site it gives you a list of what's showing this month.

Great thanks for that, was your flight full?

Try doing a dummy booking to see if you can get seats. They use the Airbus A330 on that route now, but I did the 747 last time which was maybe half full. We got an entire row each, lol.

I'd say in June economy will be full, or nearly full. It won't be quiet, that's for sure!

Flew with them at beginning of may 88 people on a 747-400 so could spread out across the whole plane! Sleeping across a row of 4!

I saw two empty seats behind us, and before take off the pilot said over the speaker "POBs 303+3" which i presume means persons on board. Also to upgrade to Premium was 254GBP.

DD had a flight to London via United cancelled last evening and she is booked on Virgin for a flight tonight. thanks for the posts about in flight entertainment. I've been on the website looking over things as she doesn't have her PC along. We were SO disappointed to see her flight cancelled as other ones were taking off just fine :scratchin Really excited about the change to Virgin, though, as it will be much more UK inspired than United could have been :cool1:
