VIP viewing PTN and Fireworks

I have the opportunity to select a VIP viewing spot to watch PTN and Fireworks. Our options are to watch from the Main Street Train Station or in the Hub facing main street for PTN and then turn around the chairs to watch the fireworks, which would then be looking through the partner statue at the castle. So I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these areas, and might be able to help chose a spot.

We have watched PTN & DF from both locations. Main Street Train Station was great as you could see down Main Street toward the castle during the fireworks. The parade view was a little blocked because the railings got in the way. The South side of the Hub was neat because the parade went by really close. The fireworks were great here, too, but there were people walking across the Hub and blocked any real chance of a view of the castle. Another thought is that the Main Street seating was on benches and the Hub seating is on chairs, if you have a preference.

The Christmas tree is an obstruction for fireworks. I don't like this location, but have not seen the new fireworks from there.

This is called the South Spoke of the Hub, and is still reserved by that name. This seating has been relocated as a temporary test (which I hope becomes permanent). The new location is on the Northeast sidewalk of the Hub, looking down the parade route toward the Matterhorn. This location has an amazing view of PTN, particularly the early parade (coming toward the seating, and tuning). Seats closer to the castle have a great view of fireworks.

Currently, the first PTN parade goes at 545p, fireworks are at 930, and the second PTN goes at 1045.

We won't be going until jan 16th which has PTN followed by fireworks.

How do you get this reserved seating?
