There was a post awhile back about them and I am probably going to take one in about 2 weeks. I'm traveling solo and I rather do this then drive around by myself.
In June 2005 I went on the VIP Tour/Experince at Universal and I must say it is worth every penny, we had our own personal guide and front of the line access to all shows and attractions. Had our own personal tour of the backlot with 12 person tram, we got to get out on the lawn of the clock tower and go into 2 closed sets where they were filming a movie and TV show. Also got to walk around on other parts of the back lot, people on the normal tram tour didnt get to go out. So its an awesome experience and I would reccomend it to anyone.
Thanks everyone...it's my first trip to CA and wasn't quite sure of the Tour companies. You know you can find anything on the internet, but the question is, is it really going to be a up and running business when you arrive.
I am considering doing the Grand Tour of Los Angeles in next month with BF and I are in California. From the posts that I've read -- it sounds like VIP is the way to go.
Question -- do they make stops at each of the locations on their website? Can you get on and off the bus with enough time to take pictures, etc??
And how does the lunch work? Do they drop you off somewhere for an hour or so?? I want to make sure that BF and I have enough time to go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood -- whether it be for lunch or a quick drink!!
Any help that anyone can provide would be great!!!
I called and talked to them. They only stop at : Mann's Chinese Thetre, Farmer's Market (which is a 2 1/2 hr. stop for lunch), Olvera Street and Venice Beach.
Rodeo Drive is not a gtd. stop as it will depend on if they have a parking place for the bus (bus parking is very limited they said) it's kind of who get the few bus parking spots first. If they get to Rodeo Drive and there is a parking spot open for the bus they will stop.
Thank you for your lunch!
I was wondering about lunch time -- BF and I want to go to the Hard Rock Cafe for a little while and I think if the stop at the Farmer's Market is 2 1/2 hours long, we would have time to make it to the Hard Rock.
