VIP Tours - worth it?

So any anyone on here hired one of the Disney VIP Tour guides for a VIP Tour?? I just looked at the new prices and its quite expensive ($750 a person) but that’s also 6 hours of a personalized VIP tour around Disneyland. So I was wondering if anyone has any experiences with one and if they would recommend one or anything.

The money is not that big of a factor but a factor none the less just looking for mainly what people thought of the tour in general.

We never did the VIP tour, but I hear it's good. The $750 is also not per person, but per group (I believe max 10 or so - but don't quote me on that).

the vip tour is $125 per hour for a minimum of 6 hours and with a maximum of 10 people, so you are correct.

The family behind us in the Nemo line last week told us they had done the tour the day before and got on all the major rides with no wait, got a lot of "behind the scenes" info, and the tour guide gave them fast passes for a lot of rides to use later. They did it on a Saturday and I think they were very pleased to "beat the crowds" so to speak by doing it. The mom said it wasn't that expensive for them, so I don't know if they paid the old rates (someone has mentioned recently that they raised the prices)...anyway they had a 12 yo daughter and twin boys about 7 or so and they all enjoyed it. It was just their family and two other guys. Sounds pretty cool!

The Dis Ladies Only group just did the VIP tour and they repeated several times that they would not back-door us on any rides. We had to wait in normal ques.

If you are planning this tour, I recommend you ask for JD as your tour guide. He got many kuddos as being the best of the three guides we had.
