VIP tour

Has a anyone done the VIP tour; they said you have a guide and you have front of the line access for rides but the guide chooses the ride. Then they said after 6 hours you get front of the line access to any ride including Harry Potter for rest of day. My sisters trying to talk me into it and I said we should get a rot room for one night (we have paid hotel elsewhere) and we will have express pass for two days and early entry. But she thinks we're going to magically get to ride Harry Potter rides over and over and I just don't. Any info appreciated.

When I read the fine print- it does not include front of the line access to HP (after the tour guide leaves). It is why we are not going to the expense of doing it.

Experience exclusive backstage access, learn fun information, and enjoy the parks’ most amazing rides and attractions without waiting in line.

With the VIP Experience, you'll be personally escorted by a Universal Orlando expert on a guided tour throughout Universal Studios Florida® OR Universal's Islands of Adventure® (separate theme park admission is required), as well as priority entrance into a minimum of eight (8) major rides and attractions. Tours begin at 11am. Duration: Approximately 5 - 7 hours.

The VIP Experience includes:

• Complimentary Continental Breakfast to start your day.
• Priority front-of-the-line access to rides and attractions.
• Universal Dining Plan - Quick Service (Entitlements: One (1) Quick Service Meal (1 entrée platter, 1 non-alcoholic beverage), One (1) Snack, One (1) Non-Alcoholic Beverage)

• Reserved seating at shows.
• Complementary Valet Parking.

Non-Private tours are available for individual parties of up to six (6) persons only and will include multiple parties in the same tour group. Parties or groups of seven (7) or more will need to book a Private VIP Experience which will include only members of their individual group.


The Universal Dining Plan - Quick Service is non-refundable. The Universal Dining Plan - Quick Service card cannot be returned or refunded, and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Gratuities are not included. Theme park admission is required for dining in Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Children ages 3 to 9 must order from the Kid's Menu. Only valid during normal operating hours. Participating locations are subject to change without notice and venue operating hours may vary by location. Merchandise is not included.
